NEWARK: Conversations in the Feminist Reading Lounge feat. Pine Magazine
Join PINE Magazine and contributing writers Anna Burckhardt, Gabrielle Octavia Rucker, and Nuar Alsadir for cocktails and conversation in the feminist reading lounge Wednesday, February 8th from 7 - 9pm. Editors Anna Cone and Laurie Cone will moderate the discussion.
PINE Magazine believes unabashed is beautiful, un-retouched is brave, facades are cowardly, a printed piece beats an online piece, and talent shines. A tangible emporium of aptitude, PINE is a non-virtual, non-glossy magazine, featuring artists, musicians, writers, directors, designers, rebels, dreamers and pioneers. The inaugural issue creates a platform for women only, venerating female creatives, past and present. Debuting with a “Brazen” theme, PINE pays tribute to brave and talented women, extoling those who choose to be vulnerable, who live with force, and who generously share their talent. PINE proclaims: here’s to the steadfast, the blatant, and the saucy!
This happening is programmed in conjunction with the 2017 Project for Empty Space Feminist Incubator, GRAB BACK.
